Stephen Stanley, a longtime resident of the Garland area, has a history of 40+ years in the real estate industry. A proud graduate of South Garland High School Class of '83, he earned his Associate degree of Arts & Applied Sciences in 1988.

     Having moved to Sachse in 1995, Stephen began his journey in public service. In 1997, he was appointed to the Sachse Parks Board, and the following year, he successfully ran for and served two consecutive three-year terms on the Sachse City Council. During his time in Sachse, he also contributed to various community organizations, holding positions such as Director of the Sachse Chamber of Commerce and President of the Sachse Youth Center Board.

     In 2012, Stephen returned to his hometown of Garland, where he later married his wife, Daphne Stanley. In 2013, he was elected to the Garland City Council and successfully secured re-election in 2015.

     In 2022, Stephen pursued the position of Dallas County Justice of the Peace Place 2-1, showcasing his dedication to public service. Although he faced challenges in the election, his commitment and hard work resonated with voters, gaining around 5,000 votes from previous Republican incumbent losses. Today, Stephen stands as the Republican Nominee for Texas HD113, seeking to represent the district and work collaboratively with fellow Republicans for the betterment of the community.
